This video shows the importance of the anterior Smith-Robinson approach to the anterior cervical spine, the surgical technique for an anterior cervical discectomy and resection of the posterior longitudinal ligament, the implantation of a cervical disc prosthesis and the assessment of its positioning in the coronal and sagittal plane in a case of C6-7disc arthroplasty in a cervical disc herniation of a 27-year-old male patient with a C6/7disc herniation.
