Surgical correction of double major adolescent idiopathic scoliosis

The correction technique for double major adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is presented, with emphasis on the basic principles of AIS management, the placement of pedicle screws in the deformed thoracic and lumbar spine and how to properly bend rods in case of a double major curve. Finally the correction manoeuvres on two rods simultaneous is demonstrated.
