The learning objectives are 1. The indication for surgical treatment of a thoracolumbar adolescent idiopathic scoliosis with curve progression.
2. The application of a freehanded pedicle screw-rod system for major scoliosis correction.
3. The application of neuromonitoring and cellsaving as standard accompanying measures in scoliosis surgery.
4. To learn intraoperative technical manoeuvres and surgical techniques to correct scoliosis.
