We present another case of a congenital kyphoscoliosis in a 8-year-old girl, in whom we resected the posterior joints at the level Th11/12 -, in combination with partial resection of the vertebral body at the index level, by combining gentle distraction on the concave side with posterior compression on the convex side. With this surgical strategy, the thoracic spine was rebalanced with the potential to grow straight.
